The European Commission conducted unannounced inspections in undertakings operating in the generation, transmission and supply of electricity in Greece. The inspections were conducted as the European Commission had concerns that such undertakings might have infringed Article 102 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the EU prohibiting abuse of a dominant position or that the undertakings had information regarding such practices.
