European Commission fined Google €2.42 billion for abusing its dominant position by providing illegal advantage to its comparison shopping service. In addition to that fine, Google has to terminate its relevant conduct within 90 days. Otherwise Google risks paying a fine up to 5% of the average daily global turnover of its parent company, namely Alphabet.
